optimized for streaming video)
You can download the FLV file free of cost. Any freeware FLV player will
work. FLV is the same format as youtube.com. There is no cost
for viewing these public meetings and video can be downloaded
Meetings are at least 1 week delayed in posting.
You can obtain a DVD of any meeting by contacting the PTV Studio at
603-635-8645 for faster service.
These files are unedited meaning some have long startup leaders, black
screens, etc.

This site was created by VOLUNTEER effort, so there are no guarantees of
service, or continued service. We work on the site when we have time.
Technical Process
Most public meetings are video taped
Meetings are recorded to DVD-RW in mpeg format
DVD is ingested into PTV Channels 20, 21 and 22 for playback
DVD is ingested into digital video archive server
meeting mpeg file (high audio/video quality) is converted into FLV
format (web streaming and reduced file size and quality)
Could this process be automated or made easier? Sure, but given
the very limited budget, its mostly a manual process right now. If
there is enough demand, we may invest more to bring faster conversions and
live web streaming. Rest assured its not a technical issue, its a
funding issue.
